The Global Academy Superior Diploma - International Cuisines Batch 4 Restaurant Simulation – Filipino Mexican Cuisine
Restaurant Simulations at Global Academy are a replica of restaurant operations. From the menu, to the service, to the kitchen creations, every detail is built closest to the real thing. If you have gone to one of these events, you will forget that it was run entirely by students.
In these occasions, students get to apply their learned skills and knowledge from their course onto products and services which they hope to please their customers with. And these customers are the most meticulous of all – the students’ family and friends, the Global Academy chef instructors, and chosen culinary professionals.
Students open themselves to judgments that either affirm or prompt to improve. Either way, they are under the (heightened) watchful eye of their mentors. Duello was a face-off between the boys and the girls of SD-IC Batch 4 and was supervised by the students’ instructor Chef Ching Yoingco. Chef Cho Marcelino and some of Global Academy’s baking students helped put desserts together for this one. Take a look at the intricacy, level of difficulty, and complexity of the Filipino-Mexican food prepared by the boys of the class!
