Running A Tight Ship

After formalizing his innate culinary skills with formal education and training, Chef Nino did the international scene aboard the luxury cruise ship Holland American Line. This stint exposed him to consumer-demanded Filipino, American, European, and French cuisines. On board, his elbows were greased with this diversity of cultures, techniques, and tastes. Other ship assignments in Florida USA, and Venice, Italy were the rungs on the ladder of success for this talented chef, and soon he was awarded the 5-star excellence award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences (AAHS). Later on he received certifications in food handling from the United States Public Health Service. He was granted the same certification when he was chef and kitchen manager of O’Shea’s Bar and Restaurant in Alberta, Canada.

All of Chef Nino’s acquired expertise and disciplines are now adapted onto his important role as the head of Global Academy Pasig. One can say he runs a tight ship, ensuring order, discipline, and growth among its human and non-human resources. “My responsibility involves providing leadership and management which enables high quality education and which promotes the highest possible standards of achievement. As Head Chef, I strive to lead towards this direction, working with an organized and well-managed team to meet objectives and targets in a creative, disciplined learning environment.”
