Global Grit Northern Titans Pastry Champion - Kimberly Ann Flores

The Battle of the Northern Titans during Global Grit 2019 produced a Pastry Category champion from Global Academy Timog - Kimberly Ann Flores!

Kimberly is an International Cuisines (IC) Batch 10 student contender who was coached by Chef Instructors Anjo dela Cruz and Gio Mangaya-ay. Her winning entry, Lemon grapefruit and matcha entremet with grapefruit posset and white peach coulis got the nods of the prestigious culinary judges of the Grit.

Kimberly says that timing and pla ting were the most challenging parts of the process. “It was difficult”, she says, “but with my patient and talented coaches and with much practice, we pulled through. With Global Grit, I rediscovered myself. It was a great experience!
