The young culinarians of Global Academy’s Professional Culinary Arts (DPCA) Batches 71 and 72 teamed up for Jovenes Cocineros. Literally translating to Young Cooks, this restaurant simulation showcased classic culinary arts techniques producing Spanish dishes. Muy grandioso y delicioso!
Their coach and Chef Instructor JJ Brian G. Saycon kept close watch, making sure the dishes were executed properly and with utmost attention to compliance to the rich culture on which they were inspired from. The future chefs baked, grilled, seared, simmered, foamed, and used the sous vide with focus and precision. As always, teamwork was a vital ingredient to the event’s success.
