This idiom is used to refer to something done very easily. But is
it very easy to make apple pie?
DPBA56 student Cheesy Adao-Sarmiento shares her
experience during her apple pie-making class under Chef Gio
Mangaya-ay. “It wasn't really that challenging compared to the days before that. I think the only problem a few students had during that day was making the lattice pattern, which taught us how to pay attention to details.”
As a newbie apple pie baker, Cheesy has these to share. “It's
quite interesting to learn how to make an apple pie from scratch. It's also interesting to know that the use of 2 apple varieties balances the sweetness and acidity of the fruit.”
