Global Academy immensely contributed to my fair share of accomplishments.

My mentors in the academy influenced me not only to reach my potentials and achieve my aspirations, but most importantly, to fulfill my calling.

The knowledge and experience I acquired at Global Academy helped me make the most of every opportunity that came my way. I remember my culinary journey with much delight today. Several years back, as a culinary arts graduate, I built on my strength and I worked on my weaknesses. As a newbie professional feeling my way through the food industry, I endured hardships and surpassed obstacles. Over time, I overcame self-doubts and did not only grow to be a better man of the kitchen, but a better version of myself.

My cooking skills brought me to cultures unknown to me, to places both familiar and strange. My journey led me to people, common and iconic. I ventured into cooking armed with a strong will and with great anticipation. From food server in restaurants and service crew in fast food chains, I worked my way up to top positions in the kitchens, both in restaurants and in a luxury cruise ship. Today, as Executive Chef of Teofely Café, each day continues to be a variety of joys and challenges which I embrace fully.

Indeed, Global Academy groomed me to get a significant taste of life experiences and success.
